How interesting to read that Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy is displeased at the use of the Saltire and believes that the Scottish Government has been slow to use the Brit embassy network to sell Homecoming Scotland... well, perhaps Mr Murphy could make a start by having a Homecoming Scotland weblink on the Scotland Office homepage. A lot has been made recently about the Scottish Secrtary Jim Murphy's dominance of the headlines, notably at the expense of Iain Gray, the leader of Labour at Holyrood. The perceived wisdom seems to be that Jim is getting in the way of any sliver of limelight that might happen to fall Iain's way, but I wonder if the Labour men are not getting the credit they deserve. Perhaps Labour media...

The good news for patriotic motorists is that under a Goverment plan they will soon be able to purchase number plates with national flags on.
