Following Nick's being overheard on the flight to Inverness, Danny Finkelstein reminds us that he has previous. In May 2006 Kevin Maguire wrote: That thrusting young Minger Nick Clegg should learn to swivel his head to spy who is sitting within earshot before shouting into a mobile phone about an aged Olympic sprinter off to a poor start. While waiting on Bournemouth station for the London tr...

Doesn't Nick Clegg look incredibly tired these days? And incredibly useless? As he says almost every single one of his colleagues are, in his Sunday Mirror "interview". And aren't his remarks about fund raising probity at best malingering self- foot shooting? Is Clogg actually working for the Tories? Ahead of becoming a defective?LoL site feed

The latest gossipy nonsense published by the Sunday Mirror reporting comments that Nick Clegg made in a conversation with Danny Alexander on the flight to Inverness that were overheard by a journalist are no more than the trivia of political backstabbing. They can - of themselves- be safely ignored, however embarrassing they may be. However, as with the unfortunate interview where Nick gave a -no ...

Three thoughts on Nick Clegg's flight to Inverness As someone pointed out to me, the Sunday Mirror's exclusive about Nick Clegg slagging off his shadown cabinet colleagues whilst on a flight to Inverness is obviously true. No journalist would go to the trouble of making up a story about people whom most of his readers have never heard of. Nick's comments display a remarkable degree of ingratitude towards Steve Webb. In such a closely fou...
