Simon Jenkins (no lefty) began an article in the Guardian yesterday with: "The British left is a disgrace." There is no shortage of those wanting to agree with him in the comments that follow, although most point out that if he is describing the Labour leadership of the last 15 or more years as being of the Left then he is sadly misguided.
