The QCA [Quality (!) and Curriculum Authority] has scrapped its assessment branch after the SATS scandal. Maybe we should scrap DCFS [Department of Children, Families and Schools] too, which is not fit for purpose, especially after the Baby P scandal, and with it the dreadful Ed Balls.
