What does Conservative Future have to hide? A new video by the free online magazine Don’t Panic on CF was forcibly pulled by the latter off YouTube “due to a copyright claim”. But the full video can still be watched from their website (the top video) for now. It shows CF activists trying to pass

Musicians hoping to protect their royalties by extending UK copyright law have tried a new tactic to get Gordon Brown's support - a filmed video message. Performers who have played with the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and Madonna are among the 28 people to take part in the Fair Play for Musicians video, which was recorded at London's legendary Abbey Road studios. They represent just a ha...

YouTube and even the more freewheeling LiveLeak have both apparently yanked a video showing a dress rehearsal for the Olympics opening ceremony, citing copyright concerns. It's not clear to me whether that would refer to the South Korean network that originally aired the footage, China, NBC (which bought the rights to broadcast the games), or the International Olympic Committee, but I am trying to...

Kevid Dowd video now up and watchable That’s it really.  I’ve just watched the first twenty minutes or so.  Not having been able to get to the event itself until after the talk had stopped, I am particularly grateful to Sean Gabb for (a) video-ing it at all, and (b) for getting the video up and watchable on the www so quickly.  Okay not quickly by the standards of quick people, but in a flash of lightning in...

Here's a link to the short video that was playing at the Conservative Conference earlier this week, but not broadcast by the BBC's televised coverage. The embed code appears to be broken, which is a problem I have encountered before with this variety of video player. Its pause and other controls never seem to work correctly either. Anyway, as for the video: not bad at all…

It seems that CNN has not only pulled the very questionable video purportedly shot in a hospital but has even taken down the empty video page. However, the text story remains with no reference to there having been a video or what happened to it. What do you call that? Oh yes, professional journalism. Not like us bloggers or Joe the Plumber who is going to Gaza on Pajamas Media TV's behalf. Al...
