What the hell is Alex Singleton going on about? He has taken Christian Aid to task for using the slogan “We stand for humanity” on the grounds that it doesn’t “fit with the brand name.” Now, it happens that I’m an atheist-pantheist-rationalist-secularist-humanist-whateverthemoodtakesmeist (I think that just about sums it up), but the last - the

Malcolm Bruce's expenses/allowances are covered by the Telegraph tomorrow. I've read through the piece. His wife, who works for him, uses part of their home as an office and that is claimed for. He's done nothing wrong. I'm not sure where the Telegraph are going with a lot of this stuff. A side note to the Telegraph "Keeping it in the family" special: One of the provisions passed through the Commo...

Daily Telegraph, 12 December 2008: “Recession pulls hemlines down“. Daily Telegraph, 6 March 2009: “Hemlines rise during economic downturns”. But perhaps it is neither up nor down? Daily Telegraph, 5 February 2009: “the relationship between fashion and the economy is often more subtly complex than that”. Never let it be said the Daily Telegraph doesn’t cov...

Today's slap down of Ukip in the second leader item in the Daily Telegraph, is significant for David Cameron. For a decade and a half, since Ukip's inception, the Telegraph has annoyed the Conservatives by its flirtation with this vehicle for the most rabid Eurosceptics. Former Telegraph editor Charles Moore had a soft spot for Ukip, as did his successor Martin Newland.

Once the Times went down the Mudoch shitter, we could still console ourselves with the Telegraph. But no more, as Guido writes: There are a lot of bitter, jealous journalists at the Telegraph and you have behaved shamefully over the McBride story. You even tipped off Downing Street in advance as to exactly what I was up to. It reflects on you a lot more than it does on me. You revealed sources, br...

From The Telegraph: "Police watchdog investigates claims that three officers attacked war veteran" Also from The Telegraph: "Police shoot man dead outside Guildford Cathedral" Er, also from The Telegraph: "Damian Green accused of 'grooming' Whitehall mole, claim police" Ah ... another one from The Telegraph: "Ian Blair poised to publish a book about his years at Scotland Yard" ...Sir Ian...

The Seaton Canoe two is video splashed by the Telegraph at 8.16pm. Is it a first for a mainstream paper to video splash a story like this? It's certainly an example of how the Telegraph is beginning to leave their competitors behind when it comes to the digtital world

You should change your password if you are one of the 700,000 registered Telegraph.co.uk users. Hackers boasting here. Security warning here. The Telegraph, as far as Guido can tell, has not alerted users that their passwords have been compromised. Shane?

The "New Look" Telegraph with its irritating Tabloid tosh is annoying. I want to pick up a proper paper, not Heat magazine. I don't give a rat's arse about Celebrity Iceskating Jungle or whatever the hell it is, nor could I care about the Madonna/Guy Richie divorce. Daily Telegraph please stop covering this rubbish. However in their defence this is superb work. Bravo Jessica
