Late last night I was reading reports that David Cameron was furious with Nadine Dorries for suggesting that MPs were stressed about having their venal expenses claims exposed in the Daily Telegraph. I went on to her website to find that her blog had been taken down. It was still, at the time, available in the Google cache and so I saved it. You may still catch it all here. It seemed likely that s...

This gets better and better by the hour. David Cameron has now had to publicly rebuke ‘high-flying Tory’ Nadine Dorries for her “witch-hunt” comments. “Of course MPs are concerned about what is happening but, frankly, MPs ought to be concerned about what their constituents think and ought to be worrying about the people who put

Nadine Dorries has written a rather charming blogpost about a private dinner she had with several MP colleagues and David Cameron earlier this week. It's a fairly indiscreet blogpost but gives a sense of how she has been won over by David Cameron having been a bit of a sceptic. She also compares him with Gordon Brown in a number of ways, none of which are very flattering to the Prime Minister....

Nadine Dorries, Tory MP, has admitted she claimed her constituency home as her "Second home" for the purposes of claiming vast expenses. So where was her first home? In the Cotswolds, apparently. Astonishingly, Nadine admits deliberately concealing from her constituents that she did not live either in her constituency or near Parliament. Nadine Dorries says: I never wanted my constituents to think...
