When it comes to the conflict between Israel and "Palestinians", the liberal consensus is that a "Two State Solution" is the best way forward. The Arabs get to keep the 22 states they already have and the Jews keep the one state they have. The Palestinians get no state. ...

"Britain is now at war with Germany. Consequently, so is Australia." So declared the Australian Prime Minister in 1939. How could he not have done? By contrast, there is no excuse whatever for "Israel is not attending some conference at which there might be the slightest criticism of Israel, consequently neither is the United States, neither is Australia (among others), and neither should Britain"...

A glimpse of the shape of things to come in this new Rasmussen poll... "Sixty-two percent (62%) of Republicans back Israel’s decision to take military action against the Palestinians, but only half as many Democrats (31%) agree. A majority of Democrats (55%) say Israel should have tried to find a diplomatic solution first, a view shared by just 27% of Republicans. While 75% of Republicans sa...
