In 2007, the LPUK was born out of a total frustration with the 'Big Brother' State, and the seeming non existant opposition to the Government by the Tories and Social Democrats. The LPUK was the first Party born out of the 'Net' The Political Blogs were the only force that was consistantly exposing graft, corruption, expense fiddling and incompetance of Big State, High Tax Gover...

We have a good crop of candidates across the country for a general election, I will be visiting the LPUK in Scotland to do the same exercise. We had some exceptional speakers in Gregg Beaman and Andrew Hunt on their experiances on the door step currently. It is not looking good for the failed Conservative/Labour/Social Democrat c...

LPUK 140 (6.9%) Tory 930 (46.2) Lab 212 (10.5) Social Democrats196 (9.7) Ukip 532 (26.4) From nowhere to a near seven per cent of the Vote for the first outing of the LPUK in an Election. Andrew Hunt was actively out on the doorstep campaigning, none of the other parties bothered. Congratulations Andrew on a very credible showing.

The format is, I believe, similar to the Oxford meeting, i.e. a swift talk and then a Q ...

Whilst trawling the sewer that is Indymedia I found this. In the early hours of this morning (12/12/08) individuals visited a police station in the Canton area of Cardiff. Slogans in support of the Greek rioters, in memory of Alexandros and anti police were painted on the front of the building. Two Police vans outside the station were also painted and covered in paint stripper. We stand in solidar...

I am aware that there is a flame war going on various blogs notably OH and DK on the subject of Israel/Palestine/Hamas/right to self defence etc etc. Somewhere along the line the LPUK has been drawn into this dispute, OH has felt it neccessary to resign his membership of the LPUK, I am not sure why as the LPUK has not made any pronouncements on this subject at all. DK has taken some fairly forthri...
