Following the unfortunate tradition of George W. Bush, Barack Hussein Obama has appointed his new ambassador to pander to the anti-Semitic and pro-jihad Organization of Islamic Conference. However, unlike President Bush, Obama picked someone for the spot with an interesting background that tells us a great deal about the president's mind set. This is long, but I suggest you read it all to get...

If President George W Bush has appeared a little distracted during the last few days of high drama in Washington, it's because he is. While everyone has been focusing on his administration's $700 billion junk debt bail-out, Bush's mind is elsewhere - in the remote mountains and valleys of Waziristan, to be precise. George W Bush has Osama bin Laden on his mind For it seems the order...

Congratulations to President Bush for having the guts to apportion the blame for the situation in Gaza where it truly belongs - on Hamas. "In his weekly radio address President George W Bush said Hamas was responsible for the latest violence and rejected any unilateral ceasefire that he said would allow Hamas to continue to fire on Israel. He added that no peace deal would be acceptable without to...

If George W Bush had been the first President to need a teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes? If George W Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved? If George W B...

It's not surprising that the photo library of John McCain with George Bush is getting vigorous usage by the Obama campaign (see latest ad below). George Bush now has a favourability rating of just 19%. That's the lowest ever for a US President since George Gallup started doing such polls in the 1930s. Bush was at that level before, but it was when the Iraq situation was far worse than it is now.

It is now evident that President George W Bush has no shots left in his locker. His live address to the American people a few moments ago exposed just how threadbare his authority has become. George W Bush has run out of ideas It was his own Republican Congressmen who torpedoed the Paulson $700 billion bail-out last night. Yet all the President could do was beseech his dissident troops to think ag...

Gordon Brown has won the agreement of senior aides to Barack Obama to try to secure a world trade deal before President Bush quits the White House in January. Brown is to raise the issue at a meeting of world leaders being convened by Bush on the economic crisis in Washington next Saturday. The business secretary, Peter Mandelson, said yesterday that the world economy could secure a deal worth &po...

Releasing photographs of American soldiers abusing detainees "would be to further inflame anti-American opinion and to put our troops in greater danger". President George W. Bush. Vice-President Dick Cheney? No, President Barack Obama just now. Obama's change of heart is an encouraging sign. It takes political maturity to reverse course publicly when you know you will be pilloried by part of ...
