The mighty Shrews have beaten Dagenham & Redbridge to enter the League 2 play-offs. All that stands between Shrewsbury Town and a return to League 2 is a couple of games. Like many children growing up I spent many a long day (always, to my memory, in the sun) playing games in and around our back yard in Walsall. In common with our closest friends and neighbours we didnt have lots of money so we had to make our own entertainment. The games we decided to play often...

Boston Red Sox slugger Manny Ramirez apparently has great faith in the success of the surge. Look at this press conference brilliance: I don't care where I play. I can even play in Iraq if need be. My job is to play baseball." If this latest from Ramirez comes as even a remote surprise to you, you're probably not a baseball fan.

Government guidelines for the management of school play times encourage schools to facilitate aerobic activities engaging students in mutually participative but limited contact game orientated play. WHICH MEANS? Send them outside to play tag! This is a joke by the way. Sorry that I have to say this but too many people were taking it seriously!
