James Bethell of NothingBritish.com. Nick Griffin delights in the flattering comparison, but today's abolition of the BNP's infamous white-only membership restriction was no "Clause 4 moment". Although he has energetically implemented the presentational modernisation of the BNP ("suits not boots"),...

The Guardian runs the map of the spread of BNP membership across the country, following the leak of the membership lists by what appears to be a disgruntled former member. Their membership in Camden seems to be very low, with a couple of members in Gospel Oak and, bizarrely, in Bloomsbury. There was some epicaricacy (new word eh!) with the publication of membership by postcode, as you can see on t...

A few days ago, a dissident member of the British National Party posted his party’s membership list on the internet. The publication of this data provides us with some interesting information about the demographics of BNP membership. The Guardian (20 November) published an interactive map showing the concentration of BNP membership by parliamentary constituency. On BBC2’s Newsnight

The Guardian has a really cool click and learn map showing BNP membership across the UK.  Just a few points; 1. Has the Guardian complied this using information that is the private data of the BNP? Is that not at best immoral, at worst illegal? 2. Isn't it interesting to see how BNP membership is concentrated in LABOUR heartlands? Could it be that core BNP support is from those on the po...

The publication of the membership list of the BNP was in contravention of the Data Protection Act, although I am not embarrassed to tell anyone I am a member of the Conservative Party. One wonders why BNP members are so shy? Is it because they know they may lose their jobs if their employers know of their membership? Or is it simply because they know they are member of a racist party and are not w...

The BNP membership list is downloadable here. There is also a Google map here (albeit not manipulatable because the originator has taken it down) which shows the concentrations of membership across the south-east and a "heat map" here which shows the distribution of membership here.

I believe this is what they call a major data loss cock up. It appears that the entire membership list of the BNP has been released on the net. BNP big wig Simon Derby reckons the list was stolen; well its certainly more likely than it being left on the 8:30 from Waterloo. Now please remember that people do not deserve to loose their livelihoods for being a BNP member; shunned by their work

Oh dear, oh dear, another leaked BNP membership list.  Things aren’t looking up for the BNP are they? Last week Nick Griffin was forced to accept that the BNP cannot lawfully refuse membership to non-white or non-”British” people.  A court ruled – using a bill that isn’t a law yet, it seems – that the BNP

Please try not to laugh, this is deadly serious. Someone has leaked the BNP’s membership list and posted it on the internet. Some BNP members are less than please judging by the comments on one BNP blog. Some of them are unhappy because they’re ashamed of their membership and have been outed and some are understandably worried
