Labour today renewed its call for voters to look again at Conservative policy, releasing a powerful critique of their crime choices. The professionally produced film controversially spends much of its 2 minute and twenty seconds focused on a man AGREEING with Tory crime policy. But Labour’s not going soft on Cameron, far from it, this

Early reactions to David Cameron's speech have been very positive. Members of the Tory leader's inner circle are delighted with the results. The Mirror reminds us that the BBC’s Mark Easton has caught David Cameron not telling the truth about crime figures: David Cameron has been attacked by the BBC for trying to fiddle the crime figures to suit his own agenda. Two very strong speeches from William Hague and David Cameron this afternoon. Hague was his rumbustuous self and Cameron did another fifteen minute off the cuff eloquent exposition of the Conservative response to the economic crisis. He spoke about the Tory plan for recovery, which is summed up in a booklet which I had better get a copy of. Here are a couple of bits from Hague's speech which s...

Tory leader's team and US president's top brass discuss range of topics in 30-minute meeting Amid all the pomp and ceremony in London today, Barack Obama made an effort with one figure who does not have access to an armour-plated limousine. David Cameron was awarded a 30-minute meeting at Winfield House, the residence of the US ambassador in Regent's Park. The Tory leader was given ...

A group of Tory MPs are backing Christopher Chope's 10 minute Rule Bill that would allow for individuals and, de facto, employers, to opt out of the minimum wage. Is this what David Cameron means by 'progressive' conservatism?
