How can the creation of 100,000 new jobs in the public sector really be the best way to revive the economy!?! Public sector jobs do not create wealth, they spend it! Gordon might just as well employ 100,000 workers to dig holes in the ground and another 100,000 to fill them back up!

Low-Paid county council workers across Mansfield and Ashfield will see a pay rise next year after union members voted to accept new wage proposals. Unfortunately these rises will be funded at the expense of about 3,500 council workers who will have their wages slashed by between £2,000 and £8,000 under the move.
