Here's the thing. Everyone knows there must be public spending cuts - even the Lib Dems leader has called for "savage" cuts - and we all know the flannel about back office and efficiency savings is just that. In the end Labour's army of diversity officers, and carbon leadership managers will have to be taken into a room and handed the P45s along with a number of more deserving people. To...

Am I the only person who thinks it's hilarious that the BBC's Chief Diversity Inquisitor turns out to be the brother of a Guardian columnist? Imagine that: 'Diversity! Diversity! Diversity' 'What you mean we should hire Cousin Bob too'? Apparently, 'diversity' is another of those words that doesn't mean what you'd think it means. Of course, the real give-away is that Pat Younge - and hey, couldn't...

Now that multi-culturalism is a busted flush for the left and race relations industry, they have a new ploy. Diversity. You can have a lack of respect for Diversity and fail to support Diversity and lose your job. Say the wrong thing in a supposed private conversation and you can be fired. ( It has become the new blasphemy to say anything that the religion of diversity deems correct - this week )....

One of the more annoying words of 2008 which is threatening to become even worse in 2009 is "Diversity". You might think you know what this means or look it up in a dictionary, but you'd be wrong. You need to go on the course, aspire to it, demand it, become an "Investor in Diversity". Diversity is the next technique for the ratchet of socialism and its crusade against freedom and personal ex...

As much debate about party funding and selection rumbles on, the issue of increasing diversity amongst MPs continues to hover in the background. I would never deny that the under-representation of women or people from BME backgrounds needs to be addressed, however there is a much more pressing diversity issue, that of diversity of social

Diversity Guidance I Can Believe In... I was reading the June 26th edition of Rhumb Lines about diversity and really liked the key messages contained. Lets think critically about what this says one key message at a time. Leaders who embrace diversity and differing viewpoints and seek talent that embodies a broad range of life experiences ensure naval readiness today and tomorrow. The Navy must reflect the face of the nation. Further, we...

Under the current system, it is very hard for the Lib Dems to elect BME MPs. Critics of the Lib Dems might take another look at the benefits of electoral reform and how it could help improve the chances of BME candidates for all parties.
