Clarkson on the BA strike: I like Virgin. And I flew Singapore Airlines recently, which was out of this world. But there is nothing quite so joyous as leaving the hustle and bustle of a superheated Third World hellhole and being greeted on the big BA jumbo by a homosexual with a cold flannel and a refreshing glass of champagne. Take that away from us and we may as well all be Belgian. Fuckin' A!

You can run, but you can't hide from the AFA The American Family Association obviously didn't foresee the problems that might arise with its strict policy to always replace the word "gay" with "homosexual" on the Web site of its Christian news outlet. That was, until they included the following story about Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay: Tyson Homosexual was a blur in blue, sprinting 100 meters faster than anyone ever has. Homosexual qualif...

How the Cold War was won... by the French James Bond and George Smiley can eat their hearts out. Who really won the Cold War for the democratic world? The French, naturellement. This rather startling claim is made by the publicity for a brooding, brilliant, French spy movie which reaches cinemas next week. Although somewhat far-fetched, the boast that French intelligence "changed the world" does have some basis in fact.

President Obama has set out his vision of how he thinks he can embark on a path which will lead to a nuclear-free world. "The existence of thousands of nuclear weapons is the most dangerous legacy of the Cold War ... Today the Cold War has disappeared but thousands of those weapons have not." We previewed his non-proliferation ideas a couple of months ago -- I blogged about it here. We also discus...

Cuba is the country to which I would move if I really did want a government that persecuted those who engaged in homosexual acts. Now that there is no longer an American Administration full of people who have never recanted their Trotskyism, President Obama should lift the entire blockade, which only attracts sympathy to this regime that does not deserve it, perhaps most notable as the model for B...
