David Cameron's son Ivan has died in hospital sparking a flood of messages of sympathy for the Tory leader and his wife Samantha.

A hospital that David Cameron vowed to save while in opposition is set to lose its A&E and maternity units following a decision this week that will prompt fresh claims that the Government cannot be trusted to protect the NHS.
