Paul Flynn is crying foul over the Parliamentary authorities’ decision to force him to pay for his own blog. Prior to that, he had tried charging the costs to the taxpayer via the Communications Allowance. Derek Wyatt has also joined the fray: “They don’t get in the way of my letters or phone calls, so why

I've blogged about the Cynical Dragon calling Paul Flynn MP a "cock" (with justification) on several occasions. I just realised that "Paul Flynn" is an anagram of "Pull Fanny" Some things just ... fit.

Alwyn ap Huw notes that Newport's favourite clown Paul Flynn has dipped his toe into the muddy water that is sectarianism.I was bitterly disappointed, on turning to the Welsh blogs, to find that one of our own MPs, Paul Flynn, has started throwing the sectarian dirt re Glasgow East:But there is deep reassuring loyalty from the "Labour until I die" folk of Glasgow. There are more of them in this co...

It is almost five months since I retired George Gallohasbeen from the role on this blog equivalent to the Fool in a Morris Dancing Troup (OK: "side"), who adds to general mirth by simply making an appearance. I have been looking for a replacement, and I think I have found one in the person of Paul Flynn, MP for Newport West. Paul has come out with the following: J.K Rowling has sprinkled some star...

It seems Paul Flynn MP is still banging the 'everything's fine' drum and complaining about the media not parroting New Labour propaganda about the economy. The Negativity bias is fiercely rampant in this holiday’s media. Whoever comes up with the gloomiest forecast of financial hell get the headline of the dayYes Paul, that's how it works. Nothing to do with the country st...

Another gem from Newport's finest. It seems Paul is fighting the good fight for freedom of speech and anti-censorship.I refused the request to remove adverse comments about fellow MPs from my site. I have opted out of the system and my site is a freestanding private enterprise, free from stultifying censorship. Is this the same Paul Flynn who not only censors comments from advocates of Smoking...

Old age must bring on paranoia in spades. Here's Paul Flynn MP on the media and the credit crunch. The media continue to headline the most pessimistic scraps of news they can find to accelerate an economic decline.Yes that's right Paul, it's the media conspiracy that's accelerating the decline. Nothing to do with your glorious leader who's fighting the good fight. When the...
